You wouldn't have to find it on the desktop. Just hit windows key+r, and type in "jaws17" or "jaws18", depending on what version you want. Then, there it is. Considering that every JAWS install removes the shortcut, and how often they have updates nowadays, I just stopped bothering with the shortcut altogether, and just use the run command, which always works so long as File Explorer is running.
