Hello Naomi, In Windows Vista the Windows Contacts are treated differently than in Outlook Express. For example, CTRL-Shift-B does not bring up the address book as Windows Address Book is not used by the program. CTRL-Shift-C brings up a list of contacts. However, Contacts is a folder and when you open your contacts folder using CTRL-Shift-C you are in a tree and list view. You can also use the search box on the Windows Start Menu to search for a specific contact. Type in a first or last name and when Windows presents a list of files matching your query you can use down arrow key to move to the various choices. A contact in Windows Contacts has a .contact extension. Pressing enter on the result will open the contact's information. The Windows Contacts folder is indexed by default in Windows Vista, which gives you the ability to quickly find a contact using the Start Menu edit box.
Hopefully, this will help you with using contacts in Vista. Take care.
