Yes Pauline you are correct. Both the Victor Reader Stream second gen and the new Trek do not permit you to transfer from the SD card to the internal memory.

You can move a book from the internal memory to the SD Card. If you hit the 3 key quickly twice in a row, it will offer the option to move the book to the card.
