Thanks, Justin. You confirm what I just discovered. It seems Word 2016 gets 
tired more quickly than 2010 because on my system, it works only for a while.

Hi. Using Word 2010, I became dependent on the F8 key to select a sentence.
It doesn't work in 2016. At Google, I find a control-mouse click instruction, 
but using the JAWS simulated mouse, it doesn't work. Has anyone found an 
alternative keyboard command buried in Word 2016 for this operation?
