I had a problem installing jaws 2018 on a windows 10 machine the other day
and for some reason it wouldn't install because the UAC was sat to 0 when I
went in and sat it to 33 percent jaws installed no problem.
I just wonder if this could be the problem with this windows 7 computer?
It took me a while to find the problem but when I did it installed the first
time but I had never had this problem before.

I did call them, and we have no resolution just yet. They are saying the
issue is due to Windows updates not being installed. I'm investigating this
now, but wanted to reach out to the list to see if anyone had other ideas.

Mike, I take it you mean you're trying to install this JAWS file. If you're
able to call VFO tech support, I'm guessing it would be your best bet.

Good afternoon all!
I am writing because I am encountering an odd issue when trying to load JAWS
18 onto a Windows 7 operating system.
When I click on the J18.0.4534 executeable, it begins the process. At the
46 percent mark, an error message appears saying the following
JAWS Set-up package error, The JAWS set-up package could not install the
required component RunTimeJAWS. The process will now exit.
I'm looking for help with this issue. Any ideas would be helpful. Many
