Hi Mike,

Based on what I have figured out, the black on black announcement from JAWS
is not accurate. Visually it is black on white. I have not played with
actual font colors and backgrounds to see how JAWS reports seeing the
colors, but I have found that using the "highlighter" JAWS accurately
reports the highlight color and the text as being black. I wasted a lot of
time trying to figure this out and got nowhere. I finally snagged a
co-worker who was walking by my office and borrowed their eyes. They
reported that everything looked fine on the screen as well as when I printed
it out. I've not checked any of this out in Excel.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws & Word 2016

Hi All,

Running Windows 7 Pro, J16 thru J2018 latest, with Office 2016. In Word
Jaws is reporting that the colors are, black on black. Where do I go to
change the background color to white? Thanks mooy moocho.

Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!
