Well, now I can't log in and I believe it is just a security for a new account. I haven't been on Facebook for years and deleted my old account at that time.

This is a new account and first they e-mailed me a 5 digit security code to approve me with that e-mail.

Then they wanted my cell phone number before I could log back in. I wonder what people do who don't have a cell phone because there was no option to get beyond this step.

I gave them my cell phone number and they sent me a six digit code to approve my cell phone.

Then when I tried to add a friend, as before, I got the message not to request people I don't know and there was an okay button. This happened before, so I pressed okay and then they said they needed a photo with a clear picture of my face and then they could approve me and would delete that photo from their server.

That was two days ago and no news yet. I still can't log in after they logged me out.

What a process!

Vicki

Hi Viki,

In computer I use the standard desktop site. When you enter someone's
profile from there, there's a button called “Send him/her/their a friend
request.” Simply press that button and you're done.

Hope it helps!

I am using the Facebook mobile site and cannot add friends. I am using the
add friend link, but requests are not going out.

Do I need to do something else?

Thanks.
