If that happens then you will get a reactivation request from the mailman program once a day for 7 days. If a person does not reply to any of them then their account will be removed from the list automatically by mailman. Personally in my experience 7 days is normally more than enough time for somebody to check their email. Even if you are removed it's a simple matter to subscribe once again because the mailman program can't ban anybody which is a good thing. I like that task to be handled by technology and not by the list owners, certainly an advantage over the free mailing list services out there for my taste.
