Hi, the professional edition allows you to perform scheduled scans. It also provides protection against worms that can be triggered by scripts, something called script blocker does this. There are also other advanced features, all controlled by the advanced user interface, which I personally find inaccessible compared to the simple user interface. The advanced user interface is only available in the professional edition. In my opinion, stick to the home edition unless you work in some corporate environment where more protection is required or you want scans to happen on a scheduled basis. Hope this helps.
