Hello, try running narrator while another screen-reader like jaws is running, and tell the error comes. another thing to be noted: narrator has only 2 files: narrator.exe and narhook.dll so no easy chance to corruption, so go into your speech settings in ctrl panel, on the text-to-speech page, see if the voices installed are speaking or not, when you arrow up or down to select one, if not, talk back to me.
