Hi Marilyn,
The version of Narrator I referenced in earlier posts, is not new.
In fact, it is an older version that shipped with Windows2000 Professional.
It is, and will always be a basic screen-reader.
I have used it on numerous occasions when Jaws failed to speak, and had no
problem navigating to where I needed to go on my systems.
At this time, I can't say whether the version that ships with Vista, will
work with XP or not.

Many people do not like the version that ships with Windows XP, because it
only has one voice, which is very crude and difficult to understand.

Richard, would you post a link to narrator? I've been all over the web
sites and cannot find narrator's newest version. Does anyone else think
this program is so primitive as to be more annoyance than help? marilyn
