Hi Richard, When you say in step #1, extract the files from the zip archive, does that mean that I should open and run these 2 files in My Documents where I had saved them to, and then copy all the files from the Program files folder in My Computer and then paste them into the Windows directory? Or do I just copy 1. narrator.exe, 2. NARRHOOK.dll, and paste just these 2 files into the directory? I'm sorry for the confusing questions but, when you say extract the files I am not quite sure what that means. I did look on the Audio Tutorials & Tips pages for extracting files info and didn't find anything but, I did get narrator running by pasting the 2 files without doing anything else into the directory and then creating a desktop shortcut. I just want to make sure that I did it correctly. Again, thank you very much for all your patience and help. Mike
