what, that's strange. what version are you using? did you recently update 
from a previous version. Personally, with programs like that produced by 
sighted people,  if everything works correctly and the way I want it in a 
current version, I don't update just in case something doesn't read or work 
anymore the way it did in the previous version.
However, if I am told of significant bug fixes or something that will help 
me use it, then I will update.
with adaptive technology however, I update every chance I can  for obvious 
reasons some of which are because it is produced with blind people in mind, 
and usually with significant improvements which will make using it in 
conjunction with other programs or just on its own will be a much better 
experience. examples are jaws and the victor reader stream firmware.
