For reference now or in the future: 1. From the message List; If you want to group messages together, group them by conversation in the View Menu (up-arrow once and then press enter). (Note: Grouping messages by conversation is neither a foolproof nor failsafe method for grouping messages on a similar topic together.)
2. Then in the Tools Options Read tab, uncheck "automatically expand grouped messages" which will mean that you will have conversations collapsed; and to expand a conversation you will use right-arrow to view each message. 3.
