You started right but got off track.
>From Documents and Settings to Owner is probably correct.
But then you need Application Data
Then Microsoft
Then Templates
In the Template folder you will find the Normal.dot file that you want to
delete.
If you don't find it there, check other folders listed with the Owner
folder and follow the path from there through Application Data,
Microsoft, and Templates
