I ran into something like that on a fantasy football site, but there
were up and down arrow buttons next to each entry that you used to
change the order.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Dragging and dropping

Hi all,

I have recently become stuck when web sites require me to drag and drop
items to reorder them in a list, for example. I have checked in with
all of the help resources I can find, and have still had no success.
First I use the JAWS cursor and move to the item I want to select. The
help files then say to use the jaws key plus control plus 8 (I'm on a
laptop), and imply that this should give me some kind of drag-and-drop
mode. It would then seem that I should be able to move the selected
item around using Alt plus shift plus the arrow keys, but I haven't had
any luck getting any of this to work. Is there something I'm missing?
I have found precious little information on how to actually do this,
just a brief description of the commands themselves.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Damon
