Hi, Remember, this is a jaws beta. I route jaws to pc, press control end, then I press my down arrow to hear the number of messages. I am not sure how you do it but if that's not the way you did it, maybe you can try it. Also, when in outlook 2003, you can check the verbosity options. Perhaps they will fix that issue so hang in there.
