Linda, I'm well aware it's a beta. Its just that something that used to work in jaws 9 is now broken in jaws ten. What I'm talking about is that in jaws nine, you could cursor through the list of folders in the folders pane, or the go to folder list, and it would tell you how many unread messages there were in the folder. By the way, in order to do what you suggested much more easily, hit insert+page down. You don't need to change cursors or anything. Cheers Alex
