I would not know how to change these settings for the virus
program. He did that. Made it go for six hours? Is it necessary
to have it running that long? And, not sure what you mean by
running one program at a time. In other words: could I get to
internet through start menu at all? Got to that displaying then
it just went away now just shows avg. pooh. I wish I knew more
about these things, and sometimes want to give up. Karen Not
sure spending on all this was worth it. Love the information but
getting very frustrated having trouble for months and months with
different things.

yes, but AVG will only let you have one of it's running programs
open at a
time.
You can change the time of your virus updates and scans to
whatever time you
want not just what that guy thought you should have,lol

Karen, to get to the start menu, press the control key plus the
escape key
to bring up the start menu. That should do it. By the way, the
vast
majority of tech guys know nothing about Jaws and they like it
that way.
