the course I did was run by a blindness organization where I live down
here in Australia. It was only for 1 hour one day a week for a few months
or so(I think it was). However, it was a one on one course-which was of
course very good. And better still, it was free. At the time, I did not
have access to Jaws at home. Therefore, I would not always remember
everything I had learnt from the one hour class the week before. The
training was really aimed at just getting you up and started with Jaws,
and in giving you a feel as to what functions are possible. Such as:
editing and formatting a document. Using Mail merge and printing envelopes
etc. The latter two, I have forgotten most of though. So that will be a
topic for future list questions I will have "smile".
