Hi Elaine; Try these keystrokes below and see if they help. To switch back and forth between documents while staying in Word, you can use alt + f6, or control +f6 besides alt, + tab.
Take care. I was thinking like the f6 which one uses when doing the help feature to switch back and forth and thought this might work the same since the f6 is a windows command and Word is windows based? If that's not the right command then I would look for the windows hot keys of whatever version you are using.. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elaine" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, December 01, 2008 4:54 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] New Member and a Request for help > hiya > > yep, in word not excel. > > I open up a new blank document in word. then have to crate a chart by > entering on insert, picture, chart. from the menus, so far ok... > > this chart is the bar chart that we start off with. they call it a basic > chart. > > from what I've been told, you have two pains or windows open, one is the > data sheet, the other is the chart. one is in front of the other. > > I can't appear to switch between the two windows, I need the focus to be > on the data sheet to insert data on the the data sheet, but need the other > window to manipulate the chart.
