Good morning. I am in a bit of trouble here. I can't find where to start
avast, do I go into the system tray? if so, I tried that, but then jaws went
to the simple interface, and that's where it stopped talking. i did what you
said or the scripts said to use the application key and find the settings,
but I couldn't find where to uncheck the skins. Your help would be much
appreciated and sorry if I keep coming back, but I'm not used to avast, and
I don't want to go back to AVG as it's definitely not jaws friendly. thanks.

I'm not using Avast, however, I believe the default is, to have Avast
update automatically.
you could also update manually, if you wanted.
also, I'm not sure if your aware, there is some helpful tips on the
jaws-users program page, to make avast a little more jaws friendly.

Yes I have got avast 4 home edition, so yes I'm just keeping awake until
I hear it and then I'll be satisfied. Just as well my computer is not

since the avast version you downloaded my be the current version all
available updates may have already come with it. so it may be a while
for the next update (it usually updatesdaily) before the next one takes
place. or you may have just missed the announcement, while you stepped
away from the pc or something. so no worry updates will come :9
