Hello Kate,
You can open the configuration manager and choose the "customize
punctuation" choice from the settings menu. In the resultant dialog box
there will be a list of all punctuation recognized by JAWS and the level at
which it starts to be announced. You can use spacebar on each entry in the
list to cycle between the four choices of "all", "most", "some" and none.
When changes are made use tab key to move to the OK button and depress it.
Use CTRL-S to save changes. Of course if you want changes to be made to the
default JAWS configuration file then load it first when you go into the
configuration manager by using shift with CTRL and D.
Take care.
Brian Lee

Subject: [JAWS-Users] punctuation
I just completed a full uninstall and reinstallation ofjaws. I am just
looking to find where I can change which punctuation is in the "most"
category. I once set these values but I cannot remember where it was that
I went todo these changes. If anyone knows, please let me know.
Thanks,
Kate
