My isp allows me to send quite big attachments, and I wouldn't have a clue
about the firewall bit. I am sending a song as an attachment. Ok I'll go
and send a text message to myself and see if it will send it.

It might be something in your firewall then. Or antivirus? What sorts of
attachments are not being sent? or It could be that your ISP doesn't
allow
you send attachments of more than a limited size. Try sending a .txt file
as an attachment. Anyway, we'd need more info to resolve the problem. If
you get that message about security settings again, try to find which
program has focus at that point by pressing JAWSKey+t and/or alt and
tabbing.
