Hi Gerald,
I remember seeing those buttons show up also. Today I googled about them
and the best I understand it, they are a voting feature. If you like a site you
click promote and if not you click remove. It is meant to make Google a more
personalized search feature.
God bless,
Mark

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Strange Google Problem
Hi Listers. I use Google as my primary search engine, and starting yesterday,
for no apparent reason that I can determine, JAWS started announcing "Promote
button" and "Remove button" after every heading in the search results when I
arrow down line by line from a heading. However, hitting Space or Enter on
these objects has no effect, so they cannot be activated. I have not changed
any settings in IE 7. This is a minor annoyance, but I would still like to
know what the heck is going on. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
Gerald
