The TopAndBottom Alert default is set to off, therefore 0, by default, in JAWS10 and probably JAWS9 as well. it was not so set in JAWS7.x. Perhaps those experiencing the problem might check out the TSN you alluded to, anyway, and (if it holds true) change the referenced value from 1 to 0. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Whitehead" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 30, 2009 7:35 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] the beep cannot get rid of it on outlook express
Hello there; please forget about this fix I sent in; apparently, the TopAndBottom Alert, is already set to zero, in the "Default.JCF". sorry, I should have checked first. ----- Original Message ----- >From: "David Whitehead" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 30, 2009 2:28 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] the beep cannot get rid of it on outlook express > Hello; > > ok, this has been posted on FS web site, for, Jaws version, 7.10, however, > I believe, you can use these steps, in Jaws9 most likely even jaws10 > > > > > Bulletin Type: TSN > Date Posted: 7/10/2006 > > Product Name: JAWS > > Version: 7.10 > > > > the information can be found at: > > http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_support/BulletinView.asp?QC=1105 > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "KB" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, January 30, 2009 12:41 PM > Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] the beep cannot get rid of it on outlook express > > >> Thanks appreciate it and will let you know if I can find out how to get >> rid of it.
