Hi Rachel, Here are some steps to get JAWS to read file extentions. 1. Go to Control Pannel. 2. Go to Folder Options. 3. Press Control Tab to get to the View Tab. 4. Tab until you get to the Tree View. 5. Keep pressing down arrow until you get to "Hide extentions for known file types." If it is on, press the Spacebar to turn it off. Hope this helps, Janelle
