Hello Al,
If you know the names of the files for the cookies you want to keep, you can
exclude them in CCleaner. You can tab to the options button and depress it,
then tab to exclude and depress that button, and then tab to a list box
where you can browse to the files to be excluded. However, I would suggest
that you consider not using CCleaner for removing cookies. Super
Anti-Spyware will find tracking cookies when you use it to scan your system.
If you run that program maybe once a week then you can get rid of only those
cookies that you should remove. If you still have the Ad-Aware Personal SE
program and can update its definitions, then you might also consider using
it for getting rid of adware and tracking cookies. If you agree then open
CCleaner, use shift-tab to move to the list of items to be used in the
cleanup process, and use down arrow to move to the checkbox for cookies.
If it is checked then use spacebar to remove the checkmark
Take care.

Chris,
Have you found a way to use C Cleaner to only remove "junk type" cookies
without removing the ones that hold info you continue to need (i.e.
certain
security registrations, log in info, etc) Last time I used it my system
worked great but my banking sites, credit card sites etc I had to re
register etc because they no longer recognized my computer as the tracking
cookies etc were deleted.
thanks,
Al

I use cCleaner (www.ccleaner.com). It's free, fully accessible, and also
cleans your junk as well as the registry.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Registration Cleaner
Hey All,
I'm running Windows Vista home premium, and I'm wanting to know if
there's
a
free registration cleaner out there like regscrub? I used that program
with
XP, but like a lot of programs, it's not compatible with Vista. Is there
an
equivalent available that works with Vista?
Thanks.
Jack
