Hi Harold,

It's not your notebook searching for a wireless connection.  I have a PC 
that's about a year old running Windows Vista.  After the log-on sound, it 
can take a full minute before Jaws starts talking.  I had someone sighted 
here, and the screen looks as it should, it's just waiting for Jaws to catch 
up with the computer.  Not sure why the lag time in loading, but it is 
really slow.  Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but you're not 
alone.

Morning All

I recently purchased a Dell Mini 12 Netbook, and I'm curious if anyone could 
enlighten me as to methods for getting JAWS 10 to start more quickly.  I 
believe the combination of my Dell both searching for a wireless signal, as 
well as enabling its Bluetooth option, could be the main culprits.

Any thoughts........
