Yes I believe you answered me correctly. I have the systems here able to share files and printers so this setup is a bit different than what you have there. David, I hope I answered you correctly based on our computers here. We each have AVG 8 and we had to install it independently of each computer and provide user name of that computer and put in the license number. All the computer are networked to go online through the main router on my desk, the other 2 have wireless connections*Allen's desktop and the laptop* That's where the networking ends... AVG in it's install wanted the user name of that computer so he has his and I have mine plus the laptop since I am only the user of it,lol But I figure I keep it going and running and all that stuff so I should lay claims to it, grins. It's a good laptop. But I think in our case AVG seems to want us to set it up as if we had only one computer or so it seems. I really don't have much knowledge in this networking and the little I do know on it, I learned off these lists here.. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2009 8:03 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] the AVG firewall > Do your computers see each other on the network? > David Ferrin > Life is what happens after you have already made other plans. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Patricia Dunbar" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2009 8:36 PM > Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] the AVG firewall > > > I just noticed if you go into AVG and arrow down to system tools enter on > it > then do alt T, then arrow down to firewall...enter > Then your on general view or something like that and this is what I > noticed > how to get from page to page since control-tab didn't work.
