Some of the newer computers like mine have 2 audio outputs. One in the front for headphones, and one in the back for the computer speakers. You can actually rout different audio to different outputs. Like Jaws out the front, and the rest of the system sounds out the back to the speakers. The drawback is that you have to always wear headphones to use Jaws. Personally, I find that annoying. haven't got that to work in vista either. That is why i went with 2 sound cards.
