It probably is. However, I've had to wipe the hard drive on this particular computer enough, that I worry that I won't be able to get additional keys. That hasn't been a problem, but sometime it might become one and I'm hoping to be ahead of the curve.
Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jack Sent: Tuesday, March 03, 2009 11:07 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Authorization key extension I'll admit my ignorance on this one. I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that once authorized, Jaws or the ILM system, puts some kind of a file on your computer so you don't have to reauthorize each time you use the computer. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jack Sent: Tuesday, March 03, 2009 9:48 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Authorization key extension What version of Jaws are you using? In newer versions, it's just a 20 digit number. It doesn't have a file extension, if this is what you mean. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Blackwell, Clifford" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 03, 2009 10:02 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Authorization key extension I am having a friend help me clean some things off my computer in and out of the registry. He knows what he's doing so that should not be a problem. However, if we clean some old Jaws files out, I want to make sure that I leave the authorization key. What is the extension for the authorization key or how do I identify it so as not to delete it by accident? Thanks.
