Hi, The following website has a number of Jaws tutorials and one is on Windows Media Player 11. It goes over how to make a playlist but it really sounds complicated. I am so glad I switched my music to iTunes which is much easier when you get the hang of it.
To check out what I used to do with WMP 11 I just went to my music folder and highlighted several songs in a folder and then pressed the applications key. One of the choices was Add to Windows Media Player list. When I chose this the songs started playing and I did control F several times to jump ahead to the next song so I could be sure it was playing the whole list I selected. I think you can also just highlight as many songs as you like and press play from the list that appears when you press the applications key. It will then begin to play the list. To me this is the simplest way since I have a lot of trouble navigating the library. I used to just keep the songs in the My Music and then just highlight the ones I wanted to listen to. Or I would make a folder and copy a selection of songs into it to more or less act as a playlist when you chose all of them and used the applications key and "Play". Can some one Please give me instructions for creating a Play List with Windows Media Player. I am using JAWS 9.0.56,, XP-Home and W M Player 11, and I have spent hours trying to figure this out. Apparently W M Player is not very JAWS Friendly, but I do not want to try that Winamps program. Up till now, I was content to play one song at a time, but now, I want to play the entire album or a couple of albums at one time! So, then I need to create a "Play List". Thanks very much, for any assistance.
