Chris, I'm using xp home, ie7 (again) and have not installed jaws 10 yet. Maybe I should go ahead and install the latest jaws since I paid for it and then try ie 8 again. However, sometimes I think I should not fix what is not broken just because an upgrade is available for all the tweakers to play with. Students and people who are working probably need every bit of upgrade there is while some of us older fogies have more simple needs. Thanks for the tip, though. marilyn
