I am not using this feature since I don't have a second sound card. But
Rick Harmon in his recent podcast discussed the new feature in the latest
JAWS 10 release! It is found in a new Sound Card menu in the Utilities menu
to set this. As Rick notes in his podcast, you need to undo any manual
tweaks you made as previously suggested to make this work.

Yes, you can. You have to edit the jfw.ini file which isn't hard. Go to the
FS site and search for multiple sound cards under the technical support. If
you don't find it, I'll dig it up. They give you the step-by-step
instructions.

I just installed a external usb soundcard.
I want to use this new usb device for music playback etc since it has a
much better dac than my integrated soundcard.
But I want to use the integrated soundcard with jaws.
Is it possible to configure jaws to use a different soundcard from the
one which is default on the system?
I use windows xp and jaws 8.0.2173.
