Hello Debbie. What you need to do is to get Jaws into your system tray. That is an option and it takes Jaws out of the Tab cycle. You can still get to Jaws by using the Modifier J command.
The option you will need is under the Basics settings.

1. Press the Jaws key and the letter J.
2. press Enter on the Options menu.
3. Press Enter on the Basics option.
4. Tab until you hear a check box which indicates "Run Jaws from System Tray" and press the space bar to check that option.
5. Tab to Okay and press Enter to save the change.

That's it, Debbie.
Anyone who calls herself "buttercup" is alright with me. I think that is one of the most beautiful little flowers that grow wild here in the U. S.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] A question about Jaws 9.0

Hi all,

I'm currently using Jaws 9.0 and every time I press alt tab, it takes me to the Jaws option.

When I had 7.0, I was able to eliminate this problem, but I don't remember what I did.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.
Debbie G.
