Hi Jean, It's true that Word carries alot of overhead, but, it does not impact the author or visitors of the site, or cause the pages to load any slower. My site is built with Microsoft Word, and works fine. It is simple to use, requires no knowledge of html code, and if you already have Microsoft Office on a machine, you are ready to go. Don't use MS Word because it saves the html with a lot of unnecessary junk.
