Why not create a mute key to turn speech on and off. For example, I have mine set to insert M. I forgot how I did it (smile). However, Dave has instructions how to do it on the Jaws user site. ----- Original Message ----- From: Øyvind Lode To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, April 25, 2009 2:55 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Muting JFW
or pressing JAWS+Ctrl+s and select No speech and hit enter. I find this method to be a fast way to "mute" jaws. When I want it to speak again I just press JAWS+Ctrl+s again and select eloquence or sapi5 and hit enter. I like to select No speech to mute jaws when I listen to music.
