Mine said when I had my last laptop, for example, 20 percent  remaining,
charging. I don't know how or where it got that info but it worked. Now
while  I have it plugged in and I hear battery status not found.

But what happens if you aren't in the system tray and press Shift + Jaws +
B? Usually if the computer is plugged in Jaws will say "Battery status not
found."  but when running from battery Jaws will report the battery status.
