What you could do is: after entering the Configuration manager, press
ctrl-shift-d for the Default, and then from the Set Options alt-s press f to
choose Forms Mode. the first checkbox of the group there enables or
disables AutoForms Mode. Subsequently, if you need to enable AutoForms Mode
in an application, you can go into that application's config manager and
enable it there. (I have it on in Firefox, but off in Internet Explorer and
elsewhere. I have to have it on in Firefox, because it seems there's a bug
I get with JAWS in Firefox.)

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] how turn off auto forms mode

Kurt and Glenn: I went to programs, jaws 10 and arrowed down to jaws and
entered. There I found a bunch of new features and help stuff, including
all about the auto forms mode and turning it off. What I found (and it
would work by going to the configuration manager) is that when something
says"on" you can turn it off by hitting the space bar. When I install a new
jaws, I always go to basics and turn off most of the things that annoy me.
So, jaws needs to be relearned now and then and that's what I'm now doing.
Thanks for your advice. marilyn
