Hi Maralyn, To fix the problem, go to the configuration manager under utilities. Use alt+S and choose the first item on the drop down menu. If you tab a couple times (I think twice) you'll see the setting to change the typing echo. Use the arrow key to set it to the choice you prefer then press enter. Remember to save the setting.
Note: when you choose the configuration manager from the jaws utilities it should say "default.jcf" when the manager opens. HTH.
