Hi Flor, Lenny, & John, Jaws / insert key, shift, +R eqals respond directly to sender. I was screwing up because I wasn't tabbing down to the edit field after invoking the respond directly to sender keystroke. Something about the responses made me think to tab down and all is fine except for my major brain fart! Thank you all for setting me straight. Take care. Mike
