here's a relevant extraction from word's Help:  "Finding text or other
items".  Turn on all punctuation to hear everything in the symbols.  In
order for all this to work, in the find & Replace Dialogue tab to: and turn
on More button with spacebar; turn on formatting with spacebar; and activate
the special menu button with spacebar.  All of this works with JAWS.  Now,
also, in the dialogue itself, notice how a hot key is given after the
special format character.  This hot key may be typed after the carat sign.
The hot keys given there are not necessarily the same as those given here.
