No, ctrl-shift-s makes a temporary change only. Go into the configuration
manager, and press ctrl-shift-d to open the Default configuration manager. then Press alt-s for Set Options, then s for synthesizer Options. Press the
tab key. You now come to a combo box called "default synthesizer". Arrow
to the synth you want as your default. Now tab forward (or shift-tab back)
to OK, and activate with spacebar or enter. Now press ctrl-s to save your
change; or, when pressing alt-F4, agree to save your change on the way out.

Thanks but that didn't do it. I changed synthisizers with ctr+Insert+S and
would like to keep this change and can't remember the keystroke to do so.
Thanks.

Hi,

You need to change the setting in the jaws configuration manager (jaws key
+ 6 on the number row.) When you close that, it will ask you if you want
to save the changes, say yes.

HTH. PS: this will only take effect for the app your in, if you want it to be for every app, while in the config manager before you make the changes,
press control shift d.

Hi,

What is the keystroke for saving setting setting like changing
synthisizers? Thanks.
