Hello Vicki; I'm wondering if your status bar is not checked?
try the following; 1, while in outlook express, press, alt+v=viewmenu, 2, now arrow down, or just press the letter L=layout. 3, now tab until you hear, "status bar", if the box is unchecked, use the spacebar to check this item. now, tab to okay, press enter. hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vicki" <[email protected]> To: "JAW'S Users" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, July 05, 2009 7:58 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS & Outlook Expreess For some reason JAWS has stopped reading the number of unread messages in my OE folders. When I arrow down, instead of saying Inbox, 5 unread, it just says Inbox even though there are unread messages. It's doing this with all my OE folders. When I go into the folder, it will still read if a message is unread if I arrow through the list. I'm using JAWS 9. Any suggestions as to how to fix this? Thanks.
