Hi. I know that's true with earlier versions of Nero up to version 6 or 7 and perhaps 8 as well. However, when I navigate to the Nero icon in my desktop, I get the welcome screen for Nero Smartstart which gives me access to all the different functions and applications (I.e. burn a data CD/DVD, Burn an Audio CD, etc.). I can navigate this screen in the same way as a multi-page dialog, but nothing for erasing a DVD. When I press Alt-R, nothing happens- likewise for pressing Alt-R followed by W. The SmartStart Screen appears to consist of five tabs: Start Page, Rip and Burn, Create and Edit, Home Entertainment and Back-up. I could be an issue with the DVD, but I sort of doubt this. Any ideas about finding the Erase DVD function in Nero Version 9 would be appreciated.

Thanks a bunch,

Chris.

Thanks,

Chris.

Hi folks. I just downloaded version 9 of Nero as I have to deal with a bad backup. I need to know how to erase a rewriteable DVD using Nero Burning Rom and JAWS. I'm using Version 10 Build 1154 on a system running Vista Ultimate 32 bit. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Chris.
