Sorry guys. Please disregard my previous question. I was trying to format a floppy drive which was mapped through a network from a remote computer. When I tried it on the local computer the format option showed up in the file menu as expected. Didn't know that you couldn't format a mapped drive remotely. Guess you learn something new every day.
