Hi,
I have no idea if this will work with you, but no harm to try.
I used to do this when I was using MS 2000 and of course when my computer
has a floppy drive.
Anyway, here's the instruction, hope you'll find this useful.

To format a floppy
Press the following:
W, to window explorer enter
Left arrow, it says c close
Up arrow, to 3 one half floppy A
Left arrow, to my computer opened
Down arrow, to 3 one half floppy A close
Route jaws to pc to move the cursor to 3 one half floppy A
hit the num-padstar to right click
M, to format
Tab, to format type
Down arrow, to full
Tab, to start button enter
When it's done, enter
Tab, to close button enter and exit.

I know I've done this before, but where do you go to format a floppy? I
could have sworn that it was a menu option in "my computer" or "windows
explorer" but I can't find it. And, please don't laugh at my need to do
such a thing in this age of memory sticks, etc.
