At long last I was able to find a neighbor who took a look at my monitor -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of tim Sent: Sunday, July 19, 2009 4:44 PM with the following results. Windows successfully loaded and displayed the desktop just as I have it configured. Upon opening the volume control in the system tray all of the mute check boxes were unchecked. This pretty exhausted my neighbor's technical expertise and I couldn't ask much more of her. I am thinking a sound card or sound card driver.
Any ideas? BTW I did plug the speakers into my laptop to confirm that they were working. Larry. That should tell you the end all truth.
