Hi,
One that I've heard of is SJPhone, a sip softphone program. You can get sip
id's for free, one place is ekiga.net for instance. They also have a very
nice client, but that's for Linux.
Another one is fedeliphone (not sure if I spelled it right), but you will
need the IP address of the person you want to call, and they will have to
have ports forwarded in their router if they use one. But the quality is
very good.
